PROJECT
Tokyo Stock Exchange and Osaka Securities Exchange. We developed a logo that would have a strong impact as a holding company, while taking advantage of the two companies’ different DNAs. Even with limited touch points, we succeeded in effectively promoting the brand by expressing it dynamically.
Japan Exchange Group, Inc. (JPX) is a group company that operates the Tokyo Stock Exchange, Osaka Securities Exchange, and Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Each has different areas of expertise in the cash and derivatives markets, making them a group of companies that complement each other admirably. By promoting management integration and system integration, etc., the two companies expect to not only establish a firm position in Japan, but also generate significant synergies, including diversification of financial products, etc., strengthening global competitiveness through cost reductions, and improving convenience for investors. CI activities were needed to quickly establish a new corporate group brand.
The newly developed corporate identity (CI) has an impressive design with four bars that grow steadily upward. The four bars represent the “4Cs” of the Group’s creed: Customer First, Creativity, Credibility, and Competency. The logo expresses the dynamic and global development and growth of the Japan Exchange Group, aiming to become the No. 1 market in Asia.
