Report on BBS Bangkok 2017

BBS (Bravis Branding Seminar) was held in Bangkok on June 15,
2017 at RADISSON BLU PLAZA BANGKOK. It was the second BBS held since last year, with lecturers from Japan who are in charge of branding for KitKat and Kinmugi.

In the first part, Fumi Sasada, President and Representative Director of Nestlé Japan, gave a presentation titled “Creating Brand Power” on how to create an attractive brand that fits the culture and market of each country, using examples of product branding in Asian countries.

In the second part, Mr. Ryoji Maki, General Manager of Marketing Department, Confectionery Business Division, Nestlé Japan K.K., gave a presentation on how to grow the “KitKat” brand with case examples.

In the third part, Ms. Asami Nagata, Design Director, Design Department, Suntory Communications Limited, introduced the past initiatives for the “Kinmugi” brand, focusing on package design.

Approximately 250 people attended the event, and we received many positive feedback from many of them that the presentation was very informative and helpful.
