“Bale of Rice” Celebrates 27th Anniversary of BRAVIS

On June 28, 2023,
BRAVIS celebrated its 27th anniversary. Every year, employees receive a celebratory gift to commemorate the founding of the company, and this year’s gift was a “rice bale”.

Rice bales were filled with rice, the staple food of the Japanese people, and were used for transportation and storage. In the days when rice was considered valuable, rice bales were sometimes used in place of money, and have long been a symbol of wealth in Japan. It is also a symbol of good fortune, meaning “good harvest” and “prosperous business.

On such a rice bale, the lucky charms “sea bream,” “shrimp,” “crane,” “turtle,” “pine tree,” and “treasure ship” are designed. The illustration, drawn like a crest in the shape of rice, creates a modern Japanese impression. While using red, the corporate color, the design is appropriate for the auspicious occasion of BRAViS’ 27th anniversary. In addition, a logo with a rice bale was also created as a symbol of prosperous business.

The rice inside is a variety called “Fufufu,” with three “FU” standing for “Fumi. The rice in the gift is named after Fumi Sasada, the president of our company, which is also a playful souvenir.

We will continue to devote ourselves to making this a year that will bring smiles to the faces of consumers, clients, and BRAVIS.
